She began her career in writing as a book blogger. She eventually turned to novel writing as a means of dealing with chronic fatigue.
In May 2015, she had the second part of her The Murder Complex book, The Death Code, published. She has also earned more than 10,000 subscribers to her eponymous YouTube channel, where she has frequently vlogged and posted writing advice.
She and her husband Josh have lived together with their hedgehog Hedwig and three dogs.
She has collaborated with YouTuber Sasha Alsberg on her own YouTube channel.
