Early in her theatrical career, she starred in the original Broadway production of Little Shop of Horrors.
Her television credits include appearances on Married with Children, Almost Perfect, and Dave's World.
She was born in Hawaii. She later married producer Larry Wilmore.
She appeared in Dead On: Relentless II, a 1992 film that also featured Meg Foster.
