Remembered for her childhood roles in the South Korean films Lovely Rivals and When I Turned Nine, this actress appeared during her young adulthood years in the movie Hot Young Bloods and in the television series Adolescence Melody.
At the age of seven, she acted in a Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation (MBC) drama series called Did We Really Love?
She won a 2004 Chunsa Film Art Award for her role as Jang Woo-rim in When I Turned Nine.
A native of Seoul, South Korea, she studied communications and media at her home city's Sungshin University.
In 2002, she appeared in a music video for a song by Eugene, Bada, and Shoo and their all-female music group, S.E.S.
