Lee Hee-ah
Pianist
Accomplished pianist who took home first place at the Korean National Student Music Content even though she was born with only two fingers on each hand.
She starting learning to play the piano at the age of 7 with her mother's help. The piano became her source of inspiration.
She was honored with an Overcoming Physical Difficulty award by former Korean President Kim Dae-Jung.
She attended school in Seoul, South Korea and later attended The Korean National College of Rehabilitation and Welfare.
She publicly opposed Lee Myung-bak's involvment in the 2008 US beef protests in South Korea, asking him to apologize for his actions.
