Running back who played in the NFL, AFL, CFL, and NFL Europe from 1996 to 2003. He began a 25-year prison sentence in 2009 but died in prison at the age of 40.
He was a dynamic and shifty back at the University of Nebraska, where he won two National Championships.
He was selected 6th overall in the 1996 NFL draft, but he struggled on the field, had legal issues, and never lived up to his draft billing.
In college he dated Nebraska basketball player Kate McEwen.
He was drafted by the St. Louis Rams, who traded Jerome Bettis to make room for him.
