He was named Newcomer of the Year for the 2009 season by the Rugby Union Players Association.
He started keeping a 'Weeks' blog in 2012 detailing the life of a rugby player.
He was born to his mother, Christine, in 1986; he grew up with two sisters.
He and Gareth Delve both played for the Melbourne Rebels.
