Larnell Lewis
Drummer
Canadian drummer who has worked with musical acts like Snarky Puppy and Fred Hammond. He has also worked on his own original music which has been described as a mix of Afro and Latin Caribbean sounds, R&B, soul, and funk.
He studied at Humber college and was the 2004 recipient of the Oscar Peterson Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music, the highest award given by the institution.
He has been sponsored by companies such as Yamaha Acoustic and Electronic Drums and Hardware, Evans Drum Heads, and Zildjian Cymbals.
When he was only four years old, he played the drums for his father's choir group.
He has played drums for Snarky Puppy, sometimes filling in for regular drummer Robert Searight.
