She started singing at the age of four and began writing songs by 11. At age 15, she turned her bedroom closet into a recording studio and began using it to record videos to post to YouTube. She posted her first video to TikTok in January 2020.

She has two sisters named Brook and Aleigha and a brother named Austin. Her mother's name is Ashley and her father's name is Rodger. Her grandfather JD Gardner was a musician.
She danced to Kendrick Lamar's song "Money Trees" in a TikTok video. She has been managed by Kevin Jonas Sr., the father of the Jonas Brothers.
