Actor who has been a mainstay on German television for several decades, appearing in recurring roles on shows like Reporter, Auf Eigene Gefahr and Dark. His feature film work includes such films as Solo for Clarinet (1998) and Kundschafter des Friedens (2017).
He attended the acting school Schauspielschule Bochum and became a theater actor at venues like the Hamburg Schauspielhaus and the Thalia Theater.
He won an Adolf Grimme Award for his performance on Reporter.
He is the son of writer and radio personality Walter A. Kreye. He married actress Sabine Wegner, with whom he has children named Emma and Paula.
He began appearing with Antje Traue on Dark in 2017.
