Kurt Fearnley
Paralympian
Australian Paralympian who won gold medals in wheelchair racing at the 2004 and 2008 Paralympic Games. He is also remembered for his dominant performance at the 2006 IPC Athletics World Championships, where he won three gold medals.
He was born with a condition known as sacral agenesis and is missing parts of his spine.
He was named Athlete of the Year by the New South Wales Institute of Sport in 2007.
He is the youngest of five children.
He and Cameron Carr are both their Australian Paralympic wheelchair athletes.
