Maltese soccer player who represented Australia at events like the Summer Olympics, FIFA Confederations Cup and OFC Nations Cup. He spent seven seasons with the Melbourne Victory before becoming the club's manager in 2013.
He began his career with the Sunshine George Cross in the Australian National Soccer League.
He played an aggressive style which earned him 12 red cards during his career. He was named the "dirtiest" soccer player ever by El Gol Digital in 2013.
He has children named James and Olivia.
He played alongside Mark Viduka on the Australian team at the 1996 Summer Olympics.
