Kevin Brooks

Notable for his Carnegie Medal-winning young adult work The Bunker Diary, Brooks is also their for his Johnny Delgado and PI John Crane series.
He studied in the philosophy and psychology departments at Birmingham, England's Aston University. In 2002, he published his acclaimed debut novel Martyn Pig.
His 2009 book Killing God was given the more innocuous title of Dawn when it was released in the United States.
He and his two brothers grew up near Exeter, England.
He and Mark Walden are both well-known British writers of young adult fiction.
