Kelly Loeffler

Rose to fame as a Georgia Republican junior US Senator. She was appointed in 2019, and later participated in the 2020/2021 US Senate run-off after coming in second in the November 2020 election.
She graduated with a degree in marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She later earned her MBA from DePaul University.
She co-owns the Atlanta Dream WNBA franchise. She supported the overturn of the 2020 presidential election results.
Her husband is businessman Jeffrey Sprecher.
She and fellow Georgia senator David Perdue both qualified for special run-off elections in January 2021 after the November 2020 election.
