David Perdue

Politician who has served as a US Senator from Georgia as a Republican beginning in 2015. He assumed the role of senior Senator following the retirement of Johnny Isakson in December 2019.
He started college at the US Air Force Academy before transferring to Georgia Tech. He gained his engineering bachelor's and master's degrees from the school in 1972 and 1975.
He worked as the president and CEO of Reebok between 1998 and 2002, and revitalized their brand by negotiating a deal with the NFL. He would later serve as CEO of PillowTex and Dollar General.
He and his wife Bonnie share two sons and three grandchildren. His first cousin is Sonny Perdue.
He has served with fellow southern Republican Lindsey Graham in the US Senate.
