Roger McDowell

Former MLB relief pitcher who won the World Series as a member of the 1986 New York Mets. He later became the pitching coach for the Atlanta Braves.
He played at Bowling Green State University before being drafted by the Mets in 1982. He made his major league debut in 1985.
He made a cameo on an episode of Seinfeld titled "The Boyfriend" in 1992.
He has children and has been married to a woman named Gloria.
He and Mookie Wilson were key parts of the World Series-winning 1986 Mets team.
