Jazz Singer
Singer and songwriter who is best known for both her solo career and collaborative projects. She has prominently collaborated with the singer Neko Case's band, and she has toured with them since 1998.
She began her music career singing in the cabaret group The Jody Grind during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Later that decade, she joined the Rock*A*Teens indie rock group, and was part of their initial EP released in 1996.
In 2005, she voiced a character on a season 5 episode of the Cartoon Network Adult Swim series Aqua Teen Hunger Force. She released her 5th solo album, I Like To Keep Myself in Pain, in 2012.
She was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. She is the oldest sibling in her family.
She toured alongside Robyn Hitchcock while a member of her first group The Jody Grind.
