Former NFL Pro Bowl running back who played for the Philadelphia Eagles, the Miami Dolphins, the New England Patriots, and the New York Jets.
He played tailback for Ohio State, where he came in second in the 1984 Heisman Trophy voting.
He threw six touchdown passes in the NFL, the third-highest total among NFL running backs at the time of his retirement.
He fathered two children, Taylor and Keith, with his wife Margaret.
He played in his only Super Bowl, XXXI, in 1997 with the New England Patriots, but the team lost to Brett Favre and the Green Bay Packers, 35-21.
