He met future bandmate Ian Hill in grammar school.
He has performed on every Judas Priest album, starting with Rocka Rolla and through A Touch of Evil: Live.
He dropped out of school by the age of sixteen and got kicked out of his house shortly after.
Les Binks was his bandmate in Judas Priest.
