Julie Holland

American psychiatrist and author who was the recipient of the 2011 Norman Zinberg Award for Medical Excellence. She is the author of the book "Weekends at Bellevue: Nine Years on the Night Shift at the Psych ER".
She earned a medical degree from Temple University and served as a Chief Resident of the Schizophrenia Research Ward at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York.
She also worked as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at New York University School of Medicine from 1995 to 2012.
Her family comes from Framingham, Massachusetts, a small suburb of Boston.
Aaron Beck is also a psychiatrist of high regard.
