Atmospheric scientist who is noted for his research on tornado, hurricane and weather radar. He has appeared on the reality series Storm Chasers, on the Discovery Channel, where he leads a group of storm chasers conducting research during tornado season.
He was a faculty member at the University of Oklahoma.
He created the Doppler On Wheels, a mobile radar system to observe tornadoes and hurricanes.
He has four children.
He works with radars, a concept that was first outlined by Nikola Tesla.
