Star offensive guard of the University of North Carolina who was selected 7th overall by the Arizona Cardinals in the 2013 NFL Draft.
A three-star recruit coming out of high school, he played three years at UNC, earning first team All-ACC honors in 2012.
He broke his left fibula during the third preseason game of his rookie year and the Cardinals were forced to put him on injured reserve for the entire 2013 season.
He grew up in Wilmington, North Carolina.
He became teammates with quarterback Carson Palmer on the Cardinals.
