NHL winger who began his career with the San Jose Sharks in 2002.
He was drafted 29th overall by the San Jose Sharks in 1998, but spent a few years in the OHL and AHL before being promoted to the NHL.
He was the first San Jose Sharks player to win the "Rocket" Richard Trophy with his 56 goals in 2006.
He is the son of Carol and Mervin Cheechoo.
He played alongside Joe Thornton on the San Jose Sharks from 2005 to 2009.
