Jimmy Reed
Blues Singer
Electric blues guitar player and songwriter who was posthumously inducted into Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1991. He influenced The Rolling Stones and The Steve Miller Band among many others.
He began to learn music by training on a harmonica and learning to play guitar starting in 1925.
Three of his singles peaked in the top 5 of U.S. R&B charts and they were "Ain't That Lovin' You Baby," "Honest I Do," and "Bright Lights, Big City."
Following his service in the Navy, he married Mary Reed in 1945.
He even influenced The King, Elvis Presley, as Elvis recorded several of his songs.
