Though he played major roles on the television shows Grafitti and La Bodeguita, Neyra is perhaps best known for his appearances on the third season of a Peruvian reality television dance competition called El Gran Show.
Before pursuing acting and modeling careers, he was a soccer player in his native Peru.
His professional theatrical credits include productions of West Side Story and Hairspray.
His sister, Gianella Neyra Magagna, had a successful career as an actress and model.
He appeared with Isabella Castillo on Nickelodeon Latin America's Grachi.
