Artist, producer, director, and songwriter also known as Westside Jay who is known for his rap videos and inspirational vlogs. He has worked as a producer and writer for All Def and All Def Music. He released his single "Stumbling" in 2013, and it has amassed over 2 million streams.
He founded a non-profit via the Boys & Girls Club called HOPE Studios in his hometown of Santa Ana. Through mentorship of at-risk youth, he provided them with resources to help them build confidence as artists. He posted his first YouTube video, "Never Coming Back," on February 20, 2012.
In 2014, he was chosen as a social activism ambassador for the Ford Fiesta Movement. Following the succes of "Stumbling," he released his debut studio album, TENFOUR, in 2016.
He was born at Santa Ana Regional Hospital. His parents were both sent to prison when he was a baby, and he was subsequently raised by his grandparents Hershell & Tina Hardimon. He often speaks of the "chosen family" he has found through neighborhood friends and music.
He has been creating YouTube videos and music with The Natural for several years. Rappers Phora and Yung Pinch are also from Orange County, California.
