With an impressive 7'4" wingspan, he was the SEC's leading shotblocker in 2007-08, and was named the conference's Defensive Player of the Year three years straight.
Drafted by the Heat in 2010, he instead went to play in Israel and Europe, then came back to the NBA in 2012.
He was born in Fairfax, Virginia.
His 157 blocks in the 2007-08 season tied Shaquille O'Neal's SEC record.
