Jake Cronenworth

Professional infielder who was traded to the San Diego Padres during the 2019 Major League Baseball offseason. In 2021, he was selected to be a member of the National League All-Star team.
He attended the University of Michigan, where he played as an infielder and the closing pitcher. In 2015, he was drafted in the seventh round by the Tampa Bay Rays.
On August 4, 2021 he hit his first career Major League home run against Dustin May and the Los Angeles Dodgers.
He is a native of St. Clair, Michigan. He is the son of Anne and Charles Cronenworth.
He played alongside Manny Machado and Fernando Tatís Jr. as a member of the Padres during the 2020 and 2021 MLB regular season.
