American football player who became the first-string quarterback for the South Carolina Gamecocks during his freshman year in 2016. He started every game at QB in 2017 and led his team to a 9-4 record.
He attended James F. Byrnes High School where his father was the head football coach.
He finished his first season with the Gamecocks by completing 125 of 190 passes for 1,420 yards.
His father Bobby is a football coach and his stepbrother Chas Dodd was a quarterback at Rutgers University.
He was coached at the University of South Carolina by Will Muschamp.
