Award-winning animator, writer and actor best known as the creator of Cartoon Network's Regular Show, an animated slacker comedy.
He was the creative director for The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack for which he earned an Annie Award nomination.
He drew inspiration for the Regular Show from old British programs and the video game ToeJam and Earl, which he played obsessively.
He grew up in suburban Hanford, California, with a younger brother named Payton. In 2010, he married Cassia Streb; they have a daughter named Lynn.
He watched Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-head religiously, which helped him form the foundation for his own Regular Show pair.
