Designer, fashion blogger and founder of the company Aetelier, a collection of minimalistic and contemporary home-goods. She runs the style and lifestyle blog Love Aesthetic Aetelier, which has collaborated with design giants such as Calvin Klein, Maison Margiela, Alaïa, Comme des Garçons, Nike and Dutch Vogue.
Although she is Dutch, her mother is a diplomat, and so they lived in several parts of South America until she was 10. They returned to the Netherlands in 1998.
Her work has been showcased in Galeri Philippe Jousse in Paris and Het Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam. She has been a guest curator for Nick Knight's SHOWstudio.
Her partner is photographer Romeo Pokomasse and her brother is Jos Carpio - the three of them run Aetelier together.
Dieter Rams and Yohji Yamamoto are her design inspirations.
