In 2013, this British centre back began his senior career with London's Arsenal F.C. Previously, he had played for the England U-16, 17, 18, and 19 teams. In 2014, he joined England's U-20 soccer team.
During his youth career with the Brentwood Boys FC, he played for both Southend United (from 2004 to 2008) and Arsenal (from 2008 to 2013).
Though he most often plays the centre back position, he has sometimes doubled as a defensive midfielder.
He spent his early years in Chelmsford, England.
