Hedwig Gorski

Polish-American performance art poet whose published poems include "Slow Paradise," "Mexico Solo," and "Drunken Savior." She also published a 2007 memoir entitled Intoxication: Heathcliff on Powell Street.
She attended the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. She was inspired to write poetry after reading Allen Ginsberg's Howl.
She produced a poetry audio recording entitled "To My Last Idol Bob Dylan."
She was born in New Jersey to Polish immigrant parents. She married composer D'Jalma Garnier.
She was influenced by the work of William Burroughs.
