Christian singer and founder of the music group Point of Grace, with whom she won eight Dove Awards and then retired in 2008.
She sang her first solo in a local church at three years old and sang in a show choir while in high school.
She became a solo artist after her success with Point of Grace and signed with the Stylos record label.
She married Brian Payne in April 1999 and the couple has four children: Ella, Nathaniel, Seth, and Ava.
She and Terry Jones have supported Mercy Ministries of America, a non-profit organization for women.
