He began training in martial arts at the age of seven.
He has a side passion for fashion and trends. He was a stunt double for the 1995 film Mortal Kombat.
He married dance teacher and pilates instructor Kathy Duran. He moved to the United States with his brother Tommy and parents when he was 14 years old.
He and good friend Noah Fleder have trained together on multiple occasions as they share a passion for Taekwondo and martial arts in general.
