Mexican television and film actor who rose to fame with his roles in Aquellos años (1973), El lugar sin límites (1978) and Las Apariencias engañan (1983). He won an award for Best Actor for the film Lo que importa es vivir.
He began his acting career in 1969 when he appeared in the film Los recuerdos del porvenir.
He starred in the television series Cuna de lobos.
He had four children Gonzalo, Gabriela, Zuria and Marimar.
He appeared alongside Karla Souza in the 2013 dark comedy Nosotros los Nobles.
