Perhaps most well known for her portrayal of Hedwig Harmsen on the popular Dutch soap opera Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden, she is also notable for her performances in films such as De Surprise (2015) and Hartenstraat (2014), as well as for her role as Lena Braams in forty episodes of the television series 't Schaep Met De 5 Pooten.
She made her first appearance on Goede Tijden, Slechte Tijden when she was just sixteen years old.
A pop singer as well as an actress, she released her first studio album, Sugar Spider, in 2002. The recording peaked at number seventy on Dutch music charts.
Her four-year relationship with musician Rob van de Wouw produced a daughter named Odilia Lilibet van de Wouw.
She is a contemporary of fellow Dutch stage and screen actress Jelka Houten.
