American rock and blues singer nicknamed "The New Orleans Dynamo." He is best known for his 1959 Top 20 hit song Sea Cruise.
He was born in Gretna, where his adopted parents named him Francis Guzzo.
He was inducted into the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame in 2010.
His adopted parents were Vincent and Anna Guzzo.
He and acclaimed songwriter Dave Bartholomew are both members of the Louisiana Music Hall of Fame.
