Francois Hollande

Member of the Socialist Party who became the 24th President of France on May 6, 2012. He'd also served as the Mayor of Tulle from 2001 to 2008.
He resided in the United States for a short period of time while he was a university student and worked as a councillor in the Court of Audit.
He signed a bill to legalize same-sex marriage, known as Bill no. 344 on May 18, 2013, with the first same-sex weddings under the law taking place eleven days later.
He had four children with Segolene Royal, with whom he was in a relationship from 1978-2007. He then had a relationship with Valerie Trierweiler until 2014.
He was preceded by Nicolas Sarkozy as President of France.
