He did sound effects, including voice work, on Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones and Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi.
He was born in San Francisco.
He passed on the opportunity to direct Pee-Wee's Big Adventure starring Paul Reubens.
