Emma Miller

Suffragette best known for being a key figure in the founding of the Australian Labor Party in Brisbane. She advocated for women's rights and workplace rights in Australia.
She worked as a seamstress and helped found the Freethought Association.
In 1890, she formed the first women's union in Brisbane.
She married three times and had four children.
She and Alice Paul both fought for women's suffrage rights.
