At the age of thirteen, she became pregnant with the child of a servant and gave birth to the baby in secrecy.
She was rumored to have bathed in the blood of young virgins in order to preserve her youth.
At the age of fourteen, she married Ferenc Nadasdy with whom she had five children.
She was associated with vampirism along with Vlad the Impaler, which led Bram Stoker to write the their novel "Dracula".
