Eli Whiteside

Catcher who made his MLB debut in 2005 with the Baltimore Orioles and was a member of the 2010 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants.
He was drafted in the 6th round of the 2001 draft by the Orioles, and spent a few years in their farm system before making his Major League debut.
After being placed on waivers by the Giants in 2012, he played in the minor league systems of the New York Yankees, Texas Rangers and Chicago Cubs.
He and his high school girlfriend, Amy, got married in 2004 and had their first child in 2010.
Primarily a backup, he saw extended time in 2011 when Giants catcher Buster Posey had a season-ending ankle injury.
