Einar Jonsson
Sculptor
Icelandic sculptor who was born in Galtafell, a farm in southern Iceland. He sculpted the monuments Hallgrímur Pétursson and The Outlaw.
He moved to Denmark where he attended the Copenhagen Academy of Art and studied sculpture.
The concept of karma is portrayed in many of his works.
He married Anne Marie Jørgensen in 1917.
He was a fan of the poetry of William Blake.
