Eduard Bornhohe
Novelist
Estonian writer who is remembered for his historical novels. His best-known works include Villu Voitlused (Battles of Villu), Usurandajate Radadel (On the Trail of Faith Travelers), and Kollid (Monsters).
He published his first novel, Tasuja (Avenger), in 1880.
His career came to a halt in 1893 when the Russian Empire's censor prohibited the publication of historical fiction.
He was born and raised in Kullaaru, Estonia. He died at the age of sixty-one in Tallinn.
He was born in the same country as fellow writer Ivar Ivask.
