She began her career as a model and MC for brands like Suave, Juice, and Annisa Magazine. She was also a finalist on the second cycle of Asia's Next Top Model.
She has a YouTube channel, DJ Freya, where she has posted videos of her performances, travel vlogs, and other vlogs.
Her sister, Fahria Yasmin Baladraf, better known as DJ Yasmin, is also a DJ.
In December 2017, she posted an Instagram photo with YouTuber Roy Leonard. The photo was captioned "if u zoom in u can see all the flaws that we don't have."
