Dimitrije Buzarovski
Composer
Macedonian composer and academic known for "Radomir’s Psalms," an oratorio, and many other works. His interests ranged from musicology to computers to electronic music to performance, teaching, and research.
He began teaching in the Music Department of Skopje's Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in 1984. He would eventually write four symphonies, two operas, three oratorios, two ballets, and numerous sonatas.
He founded IRAM, the Institute for Research and Archiving of Music, in 2000.
His family was residing in Skopje, Macedonia, when he was born.
He and his German contemporary Hans Zimmer both composed music for numerous film soundtracks.
