Point guard for the University of Kansas. He received offers from UCLA and the University of North Carolina before committing to the Jayhawks.
He began playing basketball at age four.
In December 2019 he was named Big 12 player of the week.
His parent's names are Dana and Angela Dotson. He has a brother named Dalen and a sister named Ashlyn.
He and Josh Jackson have both played for Kansas.
