Growing up around the Rat Pack inspired her to pursue a career in entertainment. She began performing regularly on her father's show in 1966.
She founded the health-focused company Bodies by Deana and released a popular workout video called The Deana Martin Total Body Workout.
She married producer John Griffeth. Her mother is Dean Martin's first wife, Elizabeth MacDonald.
She sang on a number of hit recordings produced and written by Lee Hazlewood.
