David Whiston
Violinist
Violinist known for his performances with all of the major London Orchestras, as well as for co-leading the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
When he was thirteen, he won first prize at the Blackpool Music Festival. He attended the Royal College of Music, London a year later, becoming the youngest student to be admitted at the time.
He worked as a session violinist with a wide variety of rock acts, such as Led Zeppelin, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles.
He was born and grew up in Yorkshire, England.
He played with the London Palladium Orchestra as concertmaster, collaborating with many their vocalists like Ella Fitzgerald.
