David Slade

Known for his work on the films The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, Hard Candy, and 30 Days of Night. He has also directed a multitude of music videos, including multiple for the rock band Muse.
He began his career as an amateur music video director for southern England-based bands.
His debut feature film, 2005's Hard Candy, was purchased by Lions Gate Entertainment after its successful run at the Sundance Film Festival. He also directed the 3rd episode of the 4th season of the TV series Breaking Bad.
He was born and raised in southern England.
He worked alongside Elliot Page during the making of his debut feature film Hard Candy.
